I don’t sleep well. It’s a fact. I could go on about sleep, but this here blog is about food and what we put into our bodies, so let’s get to the “food” part. In this case, tea.
When I remember, I like to try to drink tea to help me get to dreamland. I find that a nice chamomile tea or even better, Yogi Bedtime tea, usually helps me wind down. And feeling more relaxed, I tend to fall asleep better and faster than if I don’t drink tea.
Tea drinking does take a little time though, so it doesn’t always happen. Especially, when I’m trying to get up early in the morning to fit in some exercise before the rest of my day. However, making space for tea is worth it and a good meditative practice to keep up.
